Refund Policies
Individual Course Withdrawals
You may officially drop a course at any time before the beginning of the final class meeting. Your request must be submitted in writing with your signature to the registration office during business hours. If you drop a course you
may be eligible for a full refund, excluding a $50.00 non-refundable application fee, prorated costs for any
‘attended” classes, any late charges and course materials costs. Late fees are not refundable. The attended classes will be based on a pro-ration of the Individual Class Rate schedule, not any Bundled Class Rate schedule.
You must cancel the class three business days before class begins to avoid the $50.00 application fee. 24 hour notice is required to cancel a 1:1 training session or a $100.00 fee will be assessed. 1:1 training has a two-hour minimum.
Petitions for refunds filed beyond the appropriate refund deadline are approved only when the applicant is unable to continue enrollment for one of the following reasons: 1) compulsory military service (proof required), 2) administrative error or 3) physical disability or medical illness. If you become seriously ill, injured, or hospitalized, you may be permitted a late withdrawal. Your doctor must provide a timely letter on business letterhead specifying the type and extent of illness and days required to be absent. VDCI/cadteacher has the right to approve or disallow a request for medical withdrawal.
All petitions must be sent to the following address before the end of the class in which you are enrolled: VDCI/cadteacher / Refund Petitions / 3904 Groton Street, San Diego, CA 92110.
Bundled Training Package Withdrawals
If you drop a course, you are entitled to a full refund excluding a $100.00 non-refundable application fee, pro-rated costs for any attended classes, any late charges and course materials. The attended classes will be based on a pro-ration of the Individual Class Rate schedule, not the Bundled Class Rate schedule. Please read the comments detailed under "Individual Classes."
Cancellation of Courses/Classes
If the class cancels due to unforeseen events, a full refund will be issued or a student may apply their payment to the next scheduled class or another class of their choosing (assuming the pre-requisites are met).
VDCI/cadteacher reserves the right to cancel a course/class due to low enrollments or a course/class due to unforeseen events. Daytime courses/classes will sometimes cancel due to low enrollments and every student should arrange their schedule to accommodate the night course. Daytime students are always guaranteed a seat in the night course/class if a day course/class cancels. A determination to cancel any course/class is made at least 48 hours before the course/class is scheduled to begin. Students will be notified of the cancellation by email at that time. If the course/class is cancelled due to unforeseen events after 48 hours before the course/class begins, every effort will be made to contact students by phone and email. It is the responsibility of the student to check their voicemail and emails before they come to any course or individual class in the event the course/class was cancelled.
ABSOLUTLEY NO VIDEO OR AUDIO RECORDING ALLOWED
