AutoCAD is the dominant Computer-Aided Design and Drafting program in the world. The course will utilize lectures, hands-on demonstrations and lab exercises to familiarize participants with the basic AutoCAD commands and menuing systems. The course covers commands relevant to two-dimensional drafting techniques. At the conclusion of the course, students will be able to begin productive applications of AutoCAD for 2D design projects and will be qualified to enroll in the Working Drawings, Advanced Working Drawings, AutoCAD 3D Modeling, AutoCAD Project Management and Revit courses.
